Chic Styles Files: Is Khaki The New Pink?

Posted on 2 min read

What’s up Steezers? I know it has been a while since I posted; however, I needed some time to rethink my blog’s niche and to figure out what direction I wanted to take this thing in. Considering that I’m always screaming about being confident and slaying and stepping outside of comfort zones, I feel that the best way to do those things is through street and chic styles. There you have it! We are going to be focusing on the mixture of street and chic styles and how they go oh so well together. I wanted to bring you quality over quantity. Tell me what you think?

I hope you woke up this morning thinking of all the ways that you can slay the week away! If you didn’t, then no fear girl, I got you covered with today’s chic style! You have seen me wear this color at least twice on the blog, and now I’m thinking it’s starting to become the new pink. At least for me it is. This khaki green color is so neutral that it looks great on any skin tone. If you don’t have it in your “ready to launch” Spring wardrobe, then girl! What are you waiting for? For me, I just love to be monochromatic, dramatic and extra AF in my style!

This faux suede jumpsuit let me did exactly that! Cool enough for Spring and sexy enough to be styling and profiling. Did I mention that it also looks awesome with my newest bomb hair color?! Yass to the burnt orange and khaki green mixture!!

Any color heel boot would have went great with this, but I wanted to keep the khaki green flowing throughout just to show you all exactly what this color can do! It delivers every time. It’s like these boots were made just for the Spring weather with a perspex detail to add flare!

This look is perfect to wear in the daytime or at night, just pick your poison girl and rock it! The jumpsuit was found at MissGuided for just under $50, and ya’ll know that they always have some great discount codes! The khaki green boots were found at PublicDesire  for literally $30, because they are 50% off regular price.  That’s a steal!  I kept the jewelry minimal with just rings and an earring piece, because this jumpsuit does enough on its own. Now, you have a the deets, just click the link and shop away!

As always, it’s such a pleasure connecting with you all! Leave a comment, like and subscribe! Let me know what you would like to see me style next.

Until next time,

Styling should be easy, fun & everyday. Let me show you how!
