Hi you beautiful Steezers out there! Happy ???? ???? Fall-ish..they say Fall hit last Friday right? Well if you’re in an area where it still feels like summer with 80 degree weather, and you’re still trying to figure out how to transition while not wearing too warm clothes too soon, and still be in trend. Then you’ve come to the right place! Today’s blog post is exactly about the right kinds of pieces to wear while still transitioning into Fall.
This past weekend, my boyfriend and I went on a lunch date by the lake in Oklahoma, and of course it ended in him being my photographer right before I put him on a plane back to New Orleans. Besides, the wind from the lake blowing my wig lopsided (secure the wig ladies????????), it was the perfect date to wear this light floral blazer/jacket, split ruche bodycon dress and my new favorite mules. All of which are totally in season! The blazer was lightweight enough to not overheat me nor my growing 20 weeks old baby bump in the 75 degree weather, and if it would have gotten too hot, wearing just the bodycon dress and mules together would have saved the day. Due to the fact that it wasn’t a heels kind of day, I opted for these oh so stylish and comfy mules and snake print handbag. Best thing about this outfit is that everything screams Fall Fashion, from the dark colors, to the floral print and snakeskin!
All in all, don’t overthink your transition attire. Wear something lightweight enough now to build layers upon later so that you can also wear it once it really gets chilly outside.
